I guess I meant why was the ballot provision worded that way. The Take Back Your City campaign made a big deal about the due process and appeals issue, but seemed to make no effort to change that. It seems to me that it wasn't really about either of those issues, but about more people getting caught running lights. I missed why it had to be either-or instead of a compromise.
Do you know why the red light cameras have to be completely removed instead of changing the way they were used to include due process and appeals?

ReplyDeleteOh, I don't know. I suspect they went to the city with their concerns, and the city told them to go pound sand, so they had no other recourse left.
