I am referring to the AO Safety Stylish Ice Blue Safety Glasses, which retail for only $7.98. I originally bought them because I needed safety glasses for a work project, and not only are they impact protective, but they block 99.9% of UV rays. In addition, they are stylish, at least to the extent that I care about such things. See for yourself:
I am currently on my third pair of these; I lost one, and scratched another. So when it comes to cheap sunglasses that do their job but can easily be replaced when necessary, Home Depot sunglasses work for me.
My husband stumbled onto this same pair after similar experiences with expensive eye wear and couldn't believe his luck. Then he discovered that Sam's Club carries a 12 pk of the same type of glasses for around $24! Talk about cheap peeps!
ReplyDeleteor if you're like me, and the ear pieces break off, you tie them back on (if the screw hole is still intact) and cover with black tape. They won't fold down, but I put them on my head anyway when I'm not wearing them. You had to look pretty closely to see the tape too. But you look very cool Craig, MacKenzie must be strutting around town with pride.
