At first, I was going to summarize this article for you, but it's short and I think it reads best as it is.
Oh, those silly Japanese. It seems to have taken a couple of the "poodle owners" quite a while before they figured it out. I'm just shocked that the swindlers though up this idea. I guess they knew that some people are really really dumb.
I guess . . . if you've never . . . seen a dog? or a drawing of a dog? before in your whole entire time on this earth . . . then you might think a sheep was a poodle.
ReplyDeleteAlso, why do poodles cost $3200 in Japan? That's just weird.
It turns out it was a hoax (http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=263447)
ReplyDeleteIt was still a good one, as it was reported in newspapers in the UK, America, New Zealand and South Africa. I don't mind because it was still the best laugh I have had in a while.
I'm actually pretty relieved. It gives me back a little of my faith in the human race.
ReplyDeleteWell, faith in its not-complete-idiocy, not its not-spreading-dumb-internet rumors. You can't have everything.
