People seem to be conflicted about whether next year is "two thousand ten" or "twenty-ten." For me, however, no matter what people say, next year is simply "oh-ten."
In typical "cranky old guy" fashion, I'm going to insist on saying "TWENTY" Ten. This brings up another conundrum....what do you call this decade? I mean, we had the "90's," the "80's", etc. The radio stations crack me up when they say, "We bring you music from the 70's, 80's, 90's and today." Meaning THEY don't know what to call it, either. So, what do we call the decade from 2000 to 2011? I'm going with the "Oughts" unless someone can come up with something snazzier. I'm just sayin'...
